Use PEACE for adequate sun protection!

Updated: Sep 12, 2023

The Golden Rule of Skin Care

Hey beautiful glowing goddesses. We're here to tell you once again the importance of wearing SPF daily, no matter the weather or the season! It might be a repetitive topic, but it's important because all we want is the best for you and your skin. 😘

It is well-known that UV rays can cause damage to the skin, even on overcast days. But the question is, how do you know you are using the right amount of SPF to protect your skin from these damaging rays? Most users are only applying around 20-25% of the required amount of SPF. To sufficiently protect your skin from the sun, an adequate amount needs to be applied or you aren't reaping the product's protection benefits, leading to potential skin damage.

Sun Damaged Summed Up

One of the most obvious benefits of wearing SPF daily is protection against UV rays. This means protecting your skin from sunburn and skin cancer as well as protecting it from other types of damage such as photo-aging (fine lines and wrinkles), dark spots, and skin inflammation.

The Peace Method

This method is the most straightforward, foolproof way to getting the correct amount of SPF you need to apply for adequate sun protection!

  1. Apply two lines of sunscreen directly onto your index and middle fingers starting from the base of the fingers to the tips.

  2. Use this and apply to your face and neck. With this amount, you know you're fully protecting your skin. After applying SPF to your face and neck, remember to cover all other parts that will be exposed to the sun (ie. ears, shoulders, and chest). Remember to reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating to ensure your skin is protected all ✔️ day ✔️ long ✔️.
